Alfiya Halai is the Head of the Communication Design Department at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture (IVS). With a strong foundation in research-led strategy and design development, she brings over a decade of industry experience from leading roles at Adcom Leo Burnett, O2 Communications, and as Creative Director/Partner at Hue Creatives. Alfiya actively bridges academic inquiry and commercial practice through culturally informed, ethical, and mindful communication. Her practice focuses on design that moves beyond persuasion to deliver responsible, effective, and measurable impact, fostering critical thinking, contextual relevance, and accountability in contemporary creative practice.
