Named as one of the 100 most powerful Pakistani worldwide, Irfan is a social activist, entrepreneur, marketing forerunner, and unashamed ambassador of Pakistan with over 30 years of experience. He is impressively qualified and proficient in the business space, holding two MBAs from leading business schools i.e., IBA Pakistan, and a postgraduate in business administration from IMD Lausanne, Switzerland. He demonstrated his dynamic business expertise in corporate sectors in numerous top-level (board members, presidency, and director) responsibilities upholding a remarkable career across four (4) continents in multinationals including Unilever Pakistan, PepsiCo International, Yum, and KFC Pakistan. Currently, he is and has been on many boards like Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital, LUMS Pakistan, Packages Group, Dun & Bradstreet International, to name a few. However, one prominent board position that he holds as an independent director is at the Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF). Here his contributions are immense. Irfan’s contribution as a social entrepreneur is also noteworthy. His initiative “Taskeen” a non-profit, aims to change people’s attitudes and behaviors towards mental health and well-being through awareness, education, expression, and advocacy. He strongly believes that healthy minds, bodies, and emotions foster healthy relationships, leading to a healthier society for a ‘Sehatmand Pakistan’. Irfan has also taught at some of the world’s top business institutions, including Stanford California, HAAS in Berkeley, and others in UAE and Pakistan. As a speaker, he addressed and supported initiatives on many social institutions to inspire, persuade and build leadership among youth by sharing his rollicking stories of achievements. He also devotes a lot of time to training professionals from across the world.
