Ruchi Sharma is the CCO, Chief Creative & Culture officer, of Brands For Humans, an independent digital & integrated agency in Bangkok, Thailand. It’s a unique role with a dual focus on the Creative product and building a Creative Culture.
Before this, Ruchi worked in Sri Lanka. Her work was instrumental in winning the country’s first Cannes Finalist, setting Sri Lanka on the global map for other agencies to follow. Recently, she won the only Spikes metal for Sri Lanka. And the only local Effie Gold medal, proving that her work resonates equally on both scales.
Ruchi has served on many Creative and Effectiveness international juries. She was on the Creative Effectiveness for Spikes Asia 2018, Glass & Film/Print/Audio/Direct jury for Dubai Lynx 2019, Executive Jury for New York festival 2019, Grand Jury for AME 2020, VOWS 2018 and Ad Star 2010. She is also on the advisory board for New York festival and jury for WARC prize for Asian Strategy 2020.
Ruchi’s career spans more than two decades, working in New York, Bangkok, South East Asia, India and Sri Lanka. She is a frequent speaker at industry events, mentoring and encouraging the young talent of the industry, especially the women, to tap into their tremendous potential.
She is a staunch supporter of inclusion, diversity and equality. She co-created the first digital global campaign on Human Rights for the UNHRC and volunteers as a Personal Growth Officer with Women Empowered Global. Recently, she was a speaker at the inaugural Spikes Asia, See It Be It initiative to mentor female creative leaders. And will be speaking at the women leadership panel in Thailand for Creative Talk conference 2020.
