Mohtashim has over 16 years of experience in the market research field in the MENAP region, at both client and agency. He started his career with Nielsen, worked for the Publicis group and Kantar in KSA and UAE & before joining Unilever heading their insights team for Pakistan where he led the CMI team, providing market insight as part of strategic planning exercises for the overall business and all of its categories/brands.

He is currently associated with Ipsos Pakistan as the lead for their Marketing Strategy & Understanding service line. Additionally, Mohtashim has wide exposure to various research tools and methodologies such as Household Panels, Brand Tracking, Shopper and Media
