Unaizah S. Ali is a seasoned communications professional, with over 20 years’ experience in managing clients across diverse industries including food and beverage, FMCG, pharmaceutical, tobacco, social sector, among others, delving into research, digital and conventional media. She is associated with Nutshell Communication for more than a year and a half in the capacity of Chief Commercial Officer and head of Karachi. And responsible for all Client business across Pakistan. Her previous stint was with Unilever Tea Company – ekaterra where she was heading the Communications department for Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka; and responsible for creating and launching the Communications department for the newly developed entity. At the beginning of her career, she was associated with GroupM and various other digital agencies after which she moved to Milward Brown, later named Kantar. During her tenure at Kantar, she developed and launched various studies which helped establish Kantar as a thought leader in the market. These include the “TrendsReport 2020” to assess the shift in consumer mindset post-pandemic and the “Covid Barometer Study” to gauge the impact of Covid-19 on the daily lives of the common man and businesses. She has also been an active member of the Pakistan Advertisers Society and Pakistan Digital Association. She has a passion for storytelling and has created a brand by the name of “Kahaneeghar,” which offers long-lost stories and characters to children by doing live shows, radio shows, and theatre. Unaizah is a motivational speaker who likes to talk about various aspects of life.
