The Seventh Edition of the Effie Pakistan Jury Sessions

Effie Awards Pakistan, one of the biggest marketing and advertising awards has been consistently executing award shows and jury sessions for the past six years successfully, with this year being the seventh edition.the first two rounds of the EFFIE jury sessions 2025 were hosted by Pakistan Advertisers Society. The submissions opened from 1st October 2024 – 10th December 2024 and there were 531 submissions. The Jury sessions were divided in two rounds. Round one was held in Karachi (24th and 25th January) and in Dubai (31st January and 1st February), where 101 jurors were in Karachi and 42 international jurors were gathered in Dubai to rigorously evaluate and critique the EFFIE entries. On February 13th, the second round of judging took place at the Movenpick Hotel in Karachi, where a panel of esteemed jurors assessed 181 shortlisted from the 531 entries to determine the Gold, Silver, and Bronze award recipients. The jury sessions were chaired by Mr. Syed Ali Akbar, who is the Managing Director and CEO at Pakistan Tobacco Company.

The Pakistan Advertising Society (PAS) has made a significant commitment to inclusivity and empowerment by extending a unique opportunity to Azeem Nadeem, a talented student in the Education for Life program at the Karachi Down Syndrome Program (KDSP), to capture the essence of a recent event through his lens. The Grand Jury will meet in March to choose the ultimate winner – the Grand Prix – from the pool of Gold finalists, which will be held on 26TH April.
