Ahmer Rasheed

Ahmer is an Entrepreneur, a seasoned Market Researcher and Market Strategist and has over 25 years of experience. He is founder and CEO of Markematics, a renowned local market research agency and Markematics Digital, an IT startup focusing Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Survey & Analytics Tools, BPO. Before Markematics, Ahmer was instrumental in establishing two major research MNCs in Pakistan, Nielsen and MEMRB. He has also worked with GlaxosmithKline and Eli Lilly Pakistan where he was responsible for research and NPD.

Ahmer was former President of Market Research Society of Pakistan. He has significant contribution in developing the Pakistani research industry and have several credits including Launch of National Readership Survey in 2006 which becomes the Print media currency in Pakistan, Launch of Pakistan’s first ever Single Source Study Consumer Multimedia Index (CMI) in 2008, Launch of first ever BTL evaluation tool “InterACT” and Published a research paper that was accepted by ESOMAR and printed in the ESOMAR Journal. He has also pioneered Advance Analytics expertise in Pakistan including Consumer Segmentation, Perceptual Mapping, Jaccard Analysis, Conjoint Models etc.

Furthermore, Ahmer has vast working experience of almost all major FMCG sectors and clients including but not limited to Unilever, P&G, RB, CP, Pepsi, Coke, Engro, NFL, Shan, Tapal, PTC, PMI as well as other non-FMCG sectors including Telecom, Banking, Cement, Paints, Social to name a few.
