Nobody in Pakistan has worked on bigger global brands or won more awards than Ali Rez. Ranked amongst the Top 10 Creatives in the world by The Directory, and named South Asia Creative Person of the Year by Campaign magazine, Ali Rez has won more than 400 international awards, which include Grands Prix, Golds and several other metals across Cannes Lions, Clios, D&AD, Effie, One Show, Dubai Lynx, Spikes and many more. In 2019, Rez led BBDO Pakistan to win the inaugural Grand Effie at Effie Pakistan.

In a 20- year career spanning across USA, MENA, and APAC, Rez has handled global clients such as the 150-billion-dollar ChevronTexaco brand, PepsiCo, Mars, Adobe and Visa. Rez currently is the Regional ECD at BBDO for MENAP, where his work has been instrumental in helping BBDO win Network of the Year Asia Pacific, in addition to leading BBDO Pakistan to be named No.1 agency in South Asia on the Cannes Lions Global Creativity Index 2019.

Rez has been a member of the prestigious Glass jury panel at Cannes Lions, in addition to juries at Effies, Clios, LIA, Loeries, and President of the Design Jury at Spikes Asia and Adfest. Rez is also part of the D&AD Impact Council, has lectured at Oxford University, exhibited at Tate UK, spoken at Tedx, captained a cricket team in California, and – being a firm believer that curiosity leads to creativity – has traveled to 129 countries.
