Awais Dhakan

Awais Dhakan is the Executive Creative Director at Adcom Leo Burnett, and heads the nationwide creative footprint for the agency in Pakistan. He is also currently championing the integrated communication space for Adcom Leo Burnett, leading a team of digital and content specialists across a number of P&G brands and other client portfolios.

He began his career in advertising as a copywriter at Spectrum Y&R while still at college. He then moved to Adcom Leo Burnett where he led the Telenor business as a Creative Director, creating some of the most iconic and trend-setting campaigns in Pakistan.

During his 17+ years in the industry, Awais has worked on a diverse set of top global brands including Telenor, Samsung, Ariel, Pampers, Always, Gillette, Safeguard, Honda Motorcycles, FrieslandCampina Engro and Colgate-Palmolive.

In the last ten years of his tenure, Adcom Leo Burnett has become one of the most awarded agencies in the country, with his work consecutively winning at the Effie Awards and previously, the Pakistan Advertisers’ Society Awards (PAS).
