Ejaz Wasay

Ejaz Wasay, Head of the Department of Media Studies & Sr. Fellow Marketing at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Karachi, since 2011, has over 37 years of industry experience in the fields of Marketing, Corporate Communications and Advertising. He has worked with several leading local companies and MNCs including Awami Autos, Orient McCann-Erickson, Unilever (formerly Lever Bothers), UBL, Glaxo, Philips and Gillette. In his ten-year stint with Gillette, from 1984 to 1994, he worked in Pakistan, Brazil and the Middle-East. He was last based in Dubai – UAE as Marketing Manager Middle East.

He has been Council Member of the Marketing Association of Pakistan (MAP) for many years, and was its President in 2005. He was a regular contributor to publications such as Aurora and Marketing Review. He has been on the Awards Committee of APNS, and Jury Member Pakistan Advertisers’ Society (PAS) Awards since its very inception, as wells Jury Member EFFIE Awards.
