Khurram has worked in Alkaram Studio, fashion retail business unit of Alkaram Textile Mills since June 2018. He initially began as Senior General Manager Marketing before progressing to Head of Commercial for Alkaram Studio (business unit comprising of fashion retail chain of 47 stores in 15 cities across Pakistan).Khurram currently specialises in leading the marketing, retail, retail operations and e-commerce functions for the business unit.
Khurram’s role is focussed on leading the marketing function (including an in-house advertising agency), retail operations, retail function and the e-commerce function.
Khurram graduated from the Institute of Business Administration Karachi in 1996 with a BBA (Hons) and MBA specializing in Marketing. As part of the course, he interned with ICI in the industrial paints division, Reckitt & Coleman and Social Marketing Pakistan (NGO focussing on population control). Additionally Khurram also graduated from Cambridge Judge Business School in 2009 with an emphasis on strategy & finance.
