Urooj has over 10 years of experience in marketing. She started her career in digital; but her diverse omni-channel experience in building brands has established her as a seasoned brand strategist. Urooj is currently heading the Marketing of Alkaram Studios as Director, Marketing where she is responsible for the scalability, brand building and upper funnel growth of Alkaram Studios. Her last assignment was at Daraz Pakistan as the Head of Marketing Communications where she steered the rebranding of Daraz, ensuring it stays true to its essence and maintains consistency across channels. Urooj has also worked at leading agencies of the country and overseen portfolio clients such as Unilever, Nestle, Jazz, Coca-Cola,FrieslandCampina and P&G as an IMC expert who converges the online and offline channels.
